What helps us answer faster
Photos of the floor, the town you are in, and roughly when the house was built.
Photos in daylight, taken low and along the floor rather than straight down, show far more than a photo from standing height. If there is a floor vent or a threshold nearby, a picture of the exposed board edge tells us how much wear layer is left.
The town and the build year matter because they predict what is under the finish and whether lead-safe rules apply.
What happens next
We reply with what we would need to see in person, and schedule a visit to take moisture readings before quoting.
We do not quote a per-square-foot rate over the phone. The number that matters depends on the floor, and we would rather tell you that up front than produce a figure that changes once we arrive.
Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for estimates?
No. The visit, the moisture readings and the written estimate are free.
How quickly can you come out?
It varies with season — heating season and the weeks before holidays are busiest. Tell us your timeframe and we will be honest about availability.
What areas do you cover?
185 municipalities across 9 New Jersey counties. If your town is not listed, ask anyway.
