Why we publish this

Because the age of the housing stock decides more about a wood floor in New Jersey than anything else, and that data was not available anywhere in a form a homeowner could use.

The Census publishes it by bracket and by geography that does not match how people think about where they live. We reshaped it to the municipality level for the towns we serve, added the derived classifications we use ourselves, and documented the approximations rather than hiding them.
